Should be able to just replace the blades mate. I got two new Bosch ones from Halfords a few weeks ago.If you are unsure they will do it for you.

hi i went to replace mine from a 1991 model.
The arm was so rusted that i couldnt put the new blades and bracket back on the wiper arm due to corrosion.

A quick trip to halfords made me decide to go to the scrappy.

although another route would be to replace the standard screws with a couple of approriate self tapping screws. just an idea if money is tight

Most auto factors will do import wiper blades or conversion kits.

mine were the same as that. the actual clip part that slides on to the end of the arm doesnt get damaged or corrode. but the wholes on the arm, where the screws go through corrode really easily.

i replaced mine with 2 arms from a burnt out mr2 turbo that was at the local scrap yard. didnt cost much at all, and the loop (for holding the blade) on these are a bit better as incoperated in the arm itself.
no fiddly screws and very quick to replace.
