Personal circumstances were bad a few months ago, now they have got worse, and i am having to sell pretty much everything.
I bought my 91 rev1 tubby from a fellow member a while back
It is a channel islands car and has not been registered yet in the UK.
I bought it with the full intention of doing just that, i have all the forms that are needed.
I have done 99% of the worked needed for the MOT, the only things left to be done are reconnect the horn, god knows why a previous owner disconnected it.
And wire in rear fogs, i have everything you need, including rear lights with fogs already in, and a illuminated switch, all from my old mr2.Everything else will pass an MOT, the handbrake will need adjusting, but thats only a sily thing.
It breaks my heart
(once again) to part with an MR2, especially after finding such a clean and well looked after example.The car is mechanically beutiful, no knocks bangs or rattles, it pulls like a train, uses no oil at all and generally drives perfectly.
Boost is spot on and comes in very smoothly.The sale includes, a motoria exhaust, which has covered about 10miles! And nearly new 17inch rims with falken tyres, which have covered about the 250miles.
It has a boost gauge in the dash surround. It also has a K&N filter.
The drivers seat has the usual wear.
The car is perfectly drivable, however unless you have a channel islands license, your not allowed to drive it by law.
So the car needs to be trailered away, which i can arrange for the buyer at cost price.I will not be taking stupid money, so please dont try my patience with stupid offers.
I know prices have hit rock bottom, but for such a clean and well looked after example with a very strong engine, i will be asking
