What a day, was great to meet everyone just a shame it was under these sad circumstances. Seeing all the cars together in one huge line was pretty amazing! Lets do another run soon. Thumbs up to Rob for orgainising a great send off :thumleft:

What an amazing day, a great tribute to both lads. Me and Lin were both honored to be a part of this wonderful tribute to both of these special young men.
We are grateful to have met you all under these terrible circumstances, and hope to meet you all again very soon.
Lauren we spoke briefly and I took a lot of comfort from the chat that we had, thank you, and I hope that we can speak again soon, very soon.
We have got so much out of today and we thank you all, we have seen some of the pictures that have already been posted, they will be a great reminder to all of us..
Thank you again to everyone for their support, I will be in touch with each of you soon, for now Goodnight from spittinflames mum and dad.

Was a great day and so nice to meet everyone, I know the sites of the bench and tree will be visited often. I know on the way home Tim and I were unusually quiet, both lost in our thoughts of the day and the guys, that we missed 2 turnings and got lost twice. A few pics i took........

The words on the plaque by the tree just sum it up for me.....

there will be other runs in the future where we can have a blast down and around to see the sites :thumleft:

thinking every few months have a drive out

but will have sort somthing out with people

but for all of us locals and everyone who wants to come i think it would be a good idea to get together once a month at the end of the month even if its only for a chat rain hail or snow as one thing that has come to me is life is very short and we should all make more of an effort to see people more often :thumleft:

Great pics there Dave...

You must've had a quick shutter to get a shot of Rob working!!
Council workers? Can't see a Thermos and a copy of 'Health & Safety' anywhere!!

Seriously..

Bad day for me. Struggled to keep my composure in front of 'the blokes'..

I'm proud..

The people there were proud..

I hope Lee & Andy are proud..
I seem to think so..

All regards to everyone I met on day..

Keith.

Yeah baby is fine and Mrs is doing better today thanks Paul.

We certainly thought about the lads. its such a shock as you only ever hear of it on other clubs or to other people.

The Winking Man near the cat & fiddle? Damn it, we passed through there as part of the treasure hunt route organised by TOC & MR2-ROC at the weekend... Had I known these were there then I would've stopped and taken a look and had a moment of reflection..
