Brighton Run 5th June (30 MR2's last year !)

Can't do the whole run unfortuneatly but as beachy head is less than 4 miles from my flat, i can meet up with you all there depending on what time you'll be there til??

Just a reminder the Brigton Run 2005 is in full swing for Sunday 5th June 2005.

Starting at Pease Pottage Services @12:30pm and then making our way in convoy to Beachy Head.

Last year their were 30 MR2's at this event so it's quite a goodun - esp if you like the convoy / cruise type events

Wanna start a list ? - I'll Update this one with people's names if you reply - and keep this top list upto date for easy reference..

Put me down pls as I will finish my exam on 3rd June! That will be my first time to join this kind of event so I am looking forward to it.
However, I am not sure where to meet up so could someone show me the way? I am from Canterbury, anyone is near me?

I believe there a a couple/few chaps meeting at Thurrock and then moving M25 clockwise.
You could head towards the M25 and meet them en-route mate.
I believe this has been mentioned in the thread....convoy to the Brighton run.....

It's any mr2 mate... mk1 B reg's all the way up to Mk3 roadsters...

just make your way to Pease Pottage services to meet up with everyone..

Cheers Frank. I have seen a post saying a convoy to Pease Pottage starting at Thurrock Services. Could I meet you up there as I am not sure the way to Pease Pottage.

yes of course mate... from kent .. through the Dartford Tunnel.. and follow the shigs for the services at Thuurock basically head towards Lakeside shopping centre... I think it's the second turning left off the M25 after the tunnel.... basically (a13 turn off and Lakeside shopping) .. follow the road round via the roundabout ontop of the M25 right. basically go back on your self and head towards rejoining the M25 again (bridge bound)... before you rejoin the M25 the road forks - right is M25 left is signposted Services and an Esso Garage sign is up too... follow the road left into the services - that's where we'll be..

does that sound ok ?

Haven't a bl00dy clue mate - never done the Brighton Run before... we are leaving Pease Pottage services at 12:30 - that's all i know !.. I'm just following the crowd from there

I could always give you a call en'route (of course i will pull over and find a suitable parking space first )

either that or speak to Mike.. he did the Run last year - i guess he knows the full SP

We should be at Beachy Head by about 1.30,staying untill 3.30.Then moving on to the Brighton Marina.
