Rock Band - New Downloads!

Post by matt_mr2t »

I got Snow (Hey) and Tell Me Baby by Red Hot Chili Peppers the other day!

For any one who thinks Rock Band is too easy - have a crack at Snow on hard or expert - BLOODY HELL!

One of the slowest, nicest songs on there yet SO hard!

Surely you've finished Portal from the Orange Box? Still Alive is the song the computer sings at the end, now available for download in Rockband:

I dont even get what it's all about.
As far as I know it's a continuation of a game that predates the 360.

I have to say, NOTHING on there stands out for me. Not a single track.

Admittedly though, I dont know what 95% of them are.

The fact that nothing grabs my attention has let it down a bit I'm afraid.
I'll probably get it but it's always good to have a few bangers to draw you in.

For Rock Band 1 it was Dani California, Go With The Flow, Are You Gonna Be My Girl & Learn To Fly.

I love Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters out of all those groups and have heard of most of them.
But here's the thing, Give It Away is ok but doesnt seem appealing to play on the guitar and never actually heard Ever Long by Foo's, must be an old album?

I hate and, and I mean HATE living on a prayer by the way.
The only JBJ stuff I like is the mid 90's stuff that every one else hates.

There may well be a few good tunes on there but as I said, nothing on it gets my attention. It just needs to have may be half a dozen BIG tunes that apeal to me to make me really want it.
This is exactly the same reason I havent gone out and got Aerosmith GH yet either.

You fail at rock music. Epic fail, even.

Gotta agree with Dan there, if you've not heard the first 2 Foo's albums (Foo Fighers and The Colour And The Shape) then you've certainly not heard their best work. Go find now!! Everlong is one of my favourite tracks ever...

Ok let me re-phrase it. I more than likely have heard it but cant remember it as it's not one of my favourite ones.

And lets be honest here, it's all down to personal taste.
