I don't think anyone can accuse me of not enojoying the engine like it should after my recent posts. I get around 30-35 all the time. And I know where the bottom of the accelerator travel is! (somewhere in that dry stone wall i think !!! lol)

yep was a soaking wet day so spent most of my time gingerly pressing the throttle but was flat out down all the straights. i got 120 miles from £30 at £1.20 a litre so im sure that works out around 23mpg?

I've always kepy the TVIs for the motorway, but now I've got the K&N on there you don't need to live next to a motorway to get an early morning call from russthedude... lol You'd think so, but my escort got (and still gets) over 8 years of this sort of abuse and it just keeps going, good oil is they secret I think. Oh, and it isn't cold down here in sunny Bournemouth :oldtongue:
