Guitar Hero - Nintendo DS!

Post by matt_mr2t »

For any one who has one, you can now get Guitar Hero for it. Apparently it has a little button pad for the frets and you use a plectrum on the screen to pluck the "strings"

I hear it also has a whole new song list too?

From what I've heard it only has the green, red yellow and blue buttons, so some people might find it a bit easy if you are any good on Medium difficulty on the other games, having said though, i'll probably still get it to play on the train to work

I was saying to a friend how funny it would be to see some one on a train playing it!

Yes you're quite right, it does only have 4 buttons, I would imagine it would be a bit messy having to keep changing your hand position. They reviewd it in the Sun today with a picture. The fret keys attach to the top of the DS, it's not a free holding thing.

yeah i was reading about it in the metro (im too stingy to buy a paper) and they said it was good

some of the features listed on play.com:

"Authentic Rock Star Experience:
Takes full advantage of Nintendo DS capabilities, including activating star power by yelling "Rock Out" into the DS microphone
Attacks in Guitar Duel allow you to utilise the DS in a new way
Blow into the DS microphone when the touch screen is set on fire in pyrotechnics
Sign an autograph when it is requested by an excited fan
Fix a broken string by dragging the broken ends together
All of the customisation and personalisation Guitar Hero fans enjoy:
Select from six characters including two new rockers, which are exclusive to the DS
Choose from a vast collection of guitars and all new musical venues"

I'm going to listen out for people shouting "rock out" on the way home tonight and count how many lol
