[Mk2] [Turbo] Power steering has gone? help!

Hi.. just took my car to the car wash for a quick was before giving it a good polish, after the wash, parked it up switched engine off, while the lads dryed it, then after i started it the power steering light come on, no power steering at all? any idear's? could it be a fuse? if so where is it!
Any1 could help me out ASAP! thanks guys!

turn the ignition on / off about 20 times (without actually staring the car) and you'll find the PAS relay loosened off so the steering should be fine

This has happened to most MR2 owners at some point, so don't worry. The relay is known to stick :thumleft:

happened to me about 18 months ago, tried the clicky and its been fine since :thumleft:

cheers guys! was worried for a bit there!
After giving it a good wash and polish, started it up still wasnt working, drove to the shop, after i came out started it, was ok, and has been all day! thank god for tht!

relay, replace it for around a pony.

problem is back again!..did the clicky trick about 10 times, still no joy!.. where is this relay located in the car?.. the power steering won't kick back in when u are driving would it?

Cheers mate for that!.... been ok for the last 2days, come back on it self, if it does it again, gona check out the relay, or end up getting a new one! thanks again!
