DualShock 3

Post by Goto10 »

Rumble is finally back :)
I know they've been available for import for some time but I've just bought one now released in UK - so much for Sony saying rumble was last gen!
I for one missed it and think it adds something to the gaming experience, controller has a little more weight to it but not enough to affect how it feels.

I'm doing autographs this weekend, no special treatment though, you have to wait in line with the others.

Bit of weight will do it the world of good IMO!

It feels strange not having it. It gives you a bit extra from a game having a feel as well as just seeing and hearing things.

Next gen will have to have taste and smell lol.

The extra weight from the rumble bits makes them feel alot less flimsy I find...
And I wouldn't bother buying a UK one when you can import one off ebay for cheaper!

Good to see the battery lasts as long as the sixaxis \:D/

Got mine months ago for £30 delivered (and I had a choice of black, silver or white) :thumleft:

Rumble just makes the games so much more immersive.

You can feel when you've been shot, or when your tyres are begging to loose traction for example.

It's just feels bland without it.

I've got one of those PS2 to USB converters (not PS2 as in keyboard/mouse connection). Tried plugging a dance mat  into it and the usb end into the PS3 - it worked to a fashion, but some of the buttons were mapped wrong #-o
