2bartuning - ryan.g - thank you !

Post by splashnatz »

big thanks to Ryan from 2bar. He took a trip to the land of Yorkshire to map a couple of cars (mine and one of Shahids). He managed to make my car a real pleasure to drive, and got the car running really well despite a couple of issues he identified. He even took to mechanicing for a while !

He mapped the car on the dyno first, then did a final road tune on it (i let Xxxx drive for the road tune - LOL - he drives the car harder than i do).
Ryan seemed pleased with the results at the end of the day, and me, i'm over the moon with it ! He told me i'd like how the car went after the final tune, and he was soooo right.

So again, BIG thank you for your hard work Ryan, and i'm sure we'll be seeing you again when we get the issues sorted out. He even took a few pics of the car while it was hooked up to the dyno :

dyno showed 390 @ hubs i think it was. get graphs sometime this week (their printer was broken, but they've saved the runs). hopefully it'll make even more once the issues are sorted out - it already feels at least as fast as when i ran a flat 12 - but that's something else we'll see soon (if the weather ever picks up again)

I'll hold you to it next year :)

We have a cracking team, a few people down now but it should be an excellent showing for the MR2 again.

We need to get those cameras aimed in the right direction too!
