[Mk2] [Turbo] NEW ECU AND MAPPING

Post by dan1985 »

hello all,
Im looking for a bit of advice from traders and the community. Its time for a new ECU and a good few sessions on a rolling road, can anyone recommend a trader through quality of work and the final result of the work.
Secondly, regarding the ECU, whos leading the market? what would be best to go with? with the project i have in mind it will need to cope with alot of mods and around 500bhp. Currently fairly modified.

Traders, i would like to hear from you, what can you offer? what sort of "ball park" price we looking at, time of work, booking in dates, etc...

Many thanks everyone!

Dan

well i have a budget of about 1500 job completed, so thats including the ecu, mapping, vat and labour.

last time she was on a rolling road we got 317, that was at rogue, remapping original ecu

been on phone to ThorRacing and the said 1100 which i thought was a good price and they seemed very helpfull but unfortunatly they cant fit me in till august time and sadly im not available to pop in then. gutted

hope that helps

The OEM ecu isn't remappable so you have an aftermarket one already, what is it?

Unless its something like an emange blue I'd keep what you have and just get a remap if you've changed things or want to run more boost. If its a Link, AEM, Apexi or Motec call Ryan G
