anyhow started off at 20 with a Goodwood Green 1995 UK GT-Tbar, car really was mint full leather, beautiful colour!

was happy and content with my nice fast 170hp Rev 3.

until a mate let me drive his rev 2 tubby.

suddenly mine wasn't so fast, so the time came at 21 when i sold up and moved to a rev 2 tubby!

paint needed a bit of TLC but otherwise it was sound.

so a few 1/4 Miles were done love the speed of the car! On my final run i lined up against an airfix Fiesta on spinners.

Mid run the car developed a misfire so i backed off and still beat him.

the result was a cracked ringland and blown headgasket.

so off it went to the garage for a full engine rebuild.

one dark January night i was heading to a local pub for a jap car meet when yet again i developed running problems.

Home time came and i left with 2 friends in convoy, evo in front, supra behind.

So again in convoy we pulled out and started to make our way home, by now it was raining and i couldn't do more than 15

As i moved to change into 3rd gear i was hit from behind with such force i thought i had be shunted by a lorry doing 60.

The impact killed the engine dead along with the electrics, i was propelled to near motorway speeds due to the impact.

aside from a sore head where it hit the wheel, sore neck from belt burns and a dislocated shoulder i was very lucky indeed.

Turns out someone

poor car!

at least i didnt have to spend more money finding out what the rattle was behind the dash

I decided that i would move away from MR2s so drove some 200sx's Pulsar GTiRs and a few hondas but they all lacked the feel and fun factor.

so at the ripe old age of 24

tbc.
