Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] knock sensor part number
Is that the same parts for imports/turbos and NA's?

Eg: the later ones would be the chap for my Rev3 turbo

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] knock sensor part number
Yes its for both.
The EPC specifies 3SGTE..SW20 for a turbo, 3SGE..SW20 for an N/A or in this case just SW20 for a part that applies to both

Well I'll be damned, I'd never have thought the N/A knock sensor would bu used on the turbo!!

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] knock sensor part number
Just double checked with Toyota nad just had this reply....
Good morning,
Yes, sensor is the same for both engines. There is a third part number though, once again for both turbo and non turbo engines.
It is 89615-20010 and was fitted from December 1989 until August 1991.
Hope you are keeping well,

Wasn't doubting your EPC knowledge Jeff, just surprised that the knock sensor is the same for both.
I'd have thought the N/A would experience lower levels of knock and hence be slightly more
"sensitive".

Nice to know though for those needing one
