TOTB VII (2008) - "Team MR2"

I spoke with Chris yesterday...he was talking about having 2 cars ready fr TOTB so may be worth calling up Michael

I spoke to him 6 months ago, he said the same then, I sent the usual reminders etc... *shrug*

One car would be fine and dandy with me.

Anyway we are happy to bring x2 SW20's.

1x MR2 Drag car
1x MR2 Circuit Racing car

Andrew who works here at gtschris ltd has done a fair bit of karting and driven the circuit car & our first circuit car - and I have a miss-spent youth buggering around with quick MR2's - so we should be able to get some good times in for the team.

I was talking to my brother lee the other week and he said you might have something special up your sleeve regarding a drag car.

he didn't say too much about it but if its what he thinks it is could be very special, any chance of it making appearnce?

I'm having email issues at the moment chaps so if anyone has tried to contact me in the past few days and not received a reply that's why.

I need to start thinking about posting the forms down to the organisers now, apart from the one car I know of with issues at the present time is there anyone else on the list that doesn't think they will be running on the day?

We have MikeJC onboard too, just sorting forms, so in theory we have our 10 cars now, if anyone wants / needs to drop out now is the time to do it so we can fill the place before the closing date for entries on the 3rd of July.

I'm really hoping to get it sorted out by TOTB though and Jay/Peter @ SBits have kindly offered to post me an igniter/coil that I can try. I can't say for sure whether I'll be ready to run though, if you can scrape up 10 others then maybe put me on the reserves list...

Not copping out - if I can get it back to spec then I'll definitely be there!

OK, cleaned up the earths tonight and got it running again. Still seems down on power but better than before now I've disconnected the engine lid fans.

So, I'm back in and will continue to work on the power loss issue

Kind of but it's more of an "I'm suddenly interested and will post a form" list than a "received forms and ready to roll" one so, I'll try to put something together once things have become more concrete, then we have the difficult task of making it a team of 10.
