1992 MR2 GT-S Jap Import Turbo White

Post by LiamTye »

Well guys im not 100 per cent sure yet but i could possibly be selling up

If you could help with how much you think its worth that would be great becasue to be honest i really dont know

I bought the car back in september last year and have maintained it reguardless of cost

1992 MR2 GT-S Import Turbo with 116073KM on the clock

The car is still resrticted to 118KMH to my knowlege as ive had the dash apart and have seen no reason to think otherwise

Im am the second owner of the car since being imported,i have the first mot dated for the 2nd of Febuary last year with 98299KM on the clock and have the export document here aswell which are basically useless unless you can read japanesse and also have the paper work issued by the DVLA for the registration and the receipt for the car from the last owner of the car

The current mot runs out on the 11th of febuary 2009 and went through its last mot with no prolems what so ever with the mileage at 109829

I bought the car with some receipts on servicing etc etc in the short 6months the last owner had the car

this included the usuall service bits and pieces including two new rear tyres, compression test all cylinders showing 160 which as you know show a solid engine, ear brake pads and a baileys dump valve and fitting kit

since owning the car i have given the car a full service including Millers 10 W 40 oil,oil filter, rotar arm, fuel filter, thermostat, dizzy cap,new irridium plugs and nk blue leads fitted all with receipts to prove all done at110538

i had Kent Car Craft change the cambelt, gearbox oil and coolant with the mileage at 112232 KM

I have recently changed the oil with the mileage at 115622 and also fitted a sandwich plate to take oil pressure and temperature gauges

engine mods it has,it had a hks green mushroom filter on when i bought the car and i have fitted a motoria de cat pipe ( not the cheap one ) with brand new gaskets with receipts to prove with a gts chris support bracket,a jap speed cat back exhaust which i bought a month ago which gives a lovely sound but is not picturedand a boost controller and fuel cut defender on and the boost is at 14 psi and pulls very well

I have also fitted goodridge braided brake lines and dot 5.1 brake fluid and whilst doing that i painted the calipers white and the dust shields black

Ive fitted a short shifter with linkage bearings from jap spec performance with receipt which is finished with a trd ball gear knob and new gear and handbrake gaitors, ive changed the interior door handles as one was broke so i bought two new ones and screws plus a few gaskets for the service parts which turns out i never needed which i also have the receipt for

other interior mods include a option tuning steering wheel, white dash lights for the speedo, stealth gauges for boost oil temp and pressure which are only a couple of weeks old fitted with a g tech gauge holder which replaces the vents above the stereo,it has an alpine head unit, all of the seats are in excellent condition with no rips and the bolsters are fine on both seats and the mats are both fine both with new clips holding them in place which i bought off ebay and still has the jdm flare in the passenger footwell and a HKS turbo timer

the exterior is in great condition for its age but i need to get a new front badge for the bumper as i removed this not knowing it had holes underneath and needs abit of touching up by the exhaust which will both be sorted if i sell the car,ive also painted the scuttle panle and wipers gloss black as they were looking abit dated and replaced the wipers with bosch wipers which are great,it has crystal front indicators fitted also with white side lights and white head light bulbs

it has a few minor problems but i dont think anyone can complain at the condition of the car

ive had the car in pieces cleaning every part of it and its a very solid car only with abit of rust in the drivers door shut which i will get pictures up off asap but other than that is a very solid car which has never missed a beat

a few weeks ago i got bored so i took all 4 wheels off and cleaned all the wheels and archs which came out great and was very pleased

if anyone is interested in buying the car could you pm me an offer but please no time waster and could i have you opinions on how much the car is worth please

thanks alot guys
