I was there! In my black rev2 turbo, but was on Beausejour (spelling!)

Such an incredible weekend!

What were you in,

I saw two black turbos, a red turbo and a yellow n/a!

Mine was the white one!

My friend spoke to the owner of a V6 on our campsite.

I also saw a red pacific works on at Dover at the petrol station.

Hello to you!

no, we were near the back of the campsite, past the White Rabbit Racing guys. My car was all stickered up! Had a racing number '08' on the side.

If you spotted a light blue mk2 v6, a white mk1, light blue mk1, dark blue mk1, black mk1, black mk2 n/a, black rev3 and a blue mk2 turbo then you found the IMOC trip ;) (along with a noble m400, V8 esprit, vxr220 and convertible 350z) Just got back through the door!

I spotted the red one with the pacific works sticker as well, must screw the visibility!! There was an F reg supercharger knocking around too.

Yeah, dark blue. I saw it parked up in Arnage Sunday evening, and it came back over on the ferry today. Had a funny font on the rear numberplate and some overspray on the rear quarter

That was my V6 in the Speed Chills campsite!

I remember speaking to a chap about the white turbo but the weekend was a blur and I didn't get a chance to come over and say hello in the end.

I was impressed to see a good couple of MR2's of all types around the campsites.

Changing the subject slightly I was amazed by the fuel comsumption of my V6. I got about 360 miles to a tank and I wasn't hanging around on those French toll roads either. I don't know if my Link G3 made a difference!? :D

I managed the trip from Maidstone services to the campsite we were staying in on less than a full tank, I reckon that's about 300-320 miles? Not bad for a rev3 turbo ;)

This was our campsite, click to enlarge:

You'll have to excuse the poor image stitching, that's my phone not being able to cope :D

That was my mate you were talking to. It sparked an interesting conversation among the other petrolheads in our group when they heard about the V6.

I was quite surprised by my consumption, was not too bad at a steady 80. Was much better than that of my mates Leon Cupra R. His car spools up soooo easily so thats what we put it down to - stupid modern turbos!!

I had my rev1 black tubby in the camp site at Technopark. So could have been spotted at some point.

Also, I saw 2 black and one red rev1/2 NA's on the way back on monday morning :)

Don't know if anyone noticed mine... was also on Beausejour in the White Rabbit area.

Fairly distinctive ;) Black Mk2 with Gulf orange and blue stripes, big number 53s on the doors...

Was good to see so many MR2s there actually, must say something about the average owner!
