[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 5 Tubby.
Hi Guys at last i have managed "with some help" to get a couple of photos on my personal gallery. The Japenese dockside shot was the love at first sight moment which led to several trips to Bristol and secure the deal nearly five years ago with Car Imports Direct. I paid £250 up front to ensure that i had first viewing and subsequently first refusal on its arrival to the UK. Luckily i was the first to enquire and after that a "stacking que" would form if i declined to proceed (my £250 deposit was refundable at that point) and the No. two in the que would be in the frame to purchase. I still think this design was and still is in its class the best "on the planet".

Rev 5 Tubby
Yep Mr 2 is just about to roll into 40,000mls now, just got it imported before the government interferred and effectively stopped post 1997 Turbo vehicles from UK entry by making the SVA test into the now ESVA test (E for Emmision whereby a cold turbo didnt pass the test but will pass an MOT as the engine would have been run recently.

Nice motor indeed.
So what's the script with tuning a Rev 5? I know Rev 3+ are better than the Rev 2, is this better than Rev 3+4 or is it the same engine anyway, just that Rev 5 had body mods etc?
