Cheers man. See thats the thing, i'm not sure what to use. I'd like to get some kind of 2 stage kit where you apply a good coat of polish, then a very hard wax over the top. I've heard something about a claybar which sounds like a maaaajor pain in the ass to put on with some serious backache, but is mean to seal in the polished shine for months without having to worry about it coming straight off. Any suggestions?

Yeah buddy, a clay bar is what you need.....before the polish though! ](*,) .....just do exactly what I did! :thumleft:

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic. ... shed+waxed

Results are AMAZING!! 8) Hard work but well worth it!

Order:

Wash
Clean
Dry
Clay Bar with detailing spray
Polish
Sealent
Wax

In that order and that order only. :thumleft:

When claying, polishing, sealing and waxing, DONT rub/buff in circles, instead do it in small sections of straight lines from front to back (same direction the air travels accross the bodywork).

(I've done alot of research on the net from the states!) :thumleft:

yea you are... this is what i do 4 a serious wash

jet wash
clean using 2 bucket
dry
clay bar
re-wash (i use the bottle spray stuff)
SSr1
gloss
Ex sealent
leave a day
wash + wax

if you look on my sig thread you can see the difference between just a wash and a seriously good wash, its like a mirror when done properly (thats the gloss stuff i love that)
