A'pexi EVC or ECV could be the solution to that one ;)

You could be on to something there Alex B!!

The apexi ECV might be the answer to my problems both on and off the road!

Will have a look into it :D

michael wrote:All help appreciated - one thing that would be really handy would be someone to keep track of all the times - collecting the slips from the 1/4 and handling track and then writing them up on a board in the garage for all to see during the day.

Then as the summary times are published by the event folk on the day we can grab those from the screens too and make sure we have an extensive results list.

It would be good to have a monitor and a lap top. you could run a Powerpoint display with a pic of each car, then the times that it's ran.
My wifes got a brand new Mac Book Pro, but I doubt she'd let me bring it. Anyone else have any access to that equipment?
I think it would look quite pro compared to a written list?

I agree with you 100%, it would be much better but it would have to be guarded at all times, we had members of the public helping themselves to the bottles of water I brought last year so electrical equipment would be far too tempting for them.

The event people put up the times on LCD screens during the day but they often lag behind a bit, I just thought it would be handy to keep our own record so it could be relayed back to here during the day too :)

The laptop solution is valid but I wouldn't bring my equipment so therefore wouldn't ask anyone else to unless they were willing to take full responsibility for it being watched all day.

Sorry chaps, had a bit of a weird 48 hours... anyway....

Michael Greensides - "Greeny"
Nick McCann - "Freefall"
Ian Worrall - "iangts"
Larry Vallot - "larry93"
Roy Ashby - "royashmr2"
Nathan Freke - "Century Motorsport"
Simon Lockyer - "lockys96"

Hopefully a few more to come but if anyone is missing and you think they should be there please give them a prod and point them my way, ideally I'd like to have 10 plus 5 reserves.

The same as happens every year I try and get them involved... some interest in the early days and then complete silence.

A real shame, I would have really liked to have seen one of each car there and representatives from all the clubs but as in past years it's all MK2s and all from IMOC members.

Xxxx is being coy about things and seems to want to do it all last minute rather than just sending me a form and me holding on to it, as Toni says Andrew isn't around to take part again.
