[Mk2] [Turbo] Insuring a Rev 2 Turbo T-bar!!!!

Post by TubbyTTop »

I been trawling the insurance companies and none of them seem to have the correct value in the drop down for the car type! I called a couple and they said if its not in the list they dont insure it!

The only one for a turbo that comes up is MR2 2.0 GT Turbo. No mention of a T-bar!!

Who do you guys insure with and what is it insured as?

Thanks!

Thanks. On the Tescos website it has the option for MR2 2.0 GTS Turbo import and MR2 2.0 GT Turbo import but doesnt mention the T-bar import. Is it save to assume that they dont cover a Turbo T-

What do you guys insure a T-bar Turbo as? Is it simply MR2 GT Turbo for the purposes of insurance or does it need to have the T-bar part too?

Admiral are the cheapest by miles for my GTS Tbar turbo and I shopped around everyone I could think of, even all the chav specialists in the back of Fast Car etc.

Just make sure you put an older parent down as a named driver - I've put my mother on my policy and it brought the premium waaaay down.
