Would recommend if you are thinking of going on track and don't want to have noise issues to keep it at 95db or less on 3/4 max revs. I'm expecting my NA to be under 90db.

I must admit i'm no fan of loud exhausts, after a point it becomes antisocial and generally dislike the whole boy racer max attention type thing. Mark lent me his old SC which had a really loud custom exhaust on it. In the end it drove me nuts and i was just embarrassed to drive through town in it, not to mention the annoying drone on longer journeys.

Might I suggest that it is not the “loudness” of the exhaust but the tone that gives an exhaust note the quality? As with music, just having loud volume with no tonal quality sounds rubbish. A deep base rumble at 90 decibels sounds very good, where as a high-pitched sound at 90 decibels can sound awful. It is really a matter of personal choice, have what ever you want on your car, as that is the whole point of owning a car like an MR2, to be a little individual.
