if your wanting to just change the look of your lights (swap the clusters over) then theres no need for any light mods for your new rev3 lights.

just pop the side marker out of the old light cluster (gently ease the edge of the marker outward, there is a clip that holds it down and you wouldnt want to damage the outside. plus althought there should be a little strap stopping it from falling.......its not always still there!)

then theres a couple of screws that hold that side in place. one they are undone the light is held in place only with a couple of friction clips.

you can help the removal by opening the boot, pulling away the boot trim behind the centre panel and loostening the 4 or so fixing nuts that hold the centre panel in place, this will give you a little more room when actualy lifting the lights off of the car. but it isnt a must do.

then with the lights off, undo the lamps from their holsters, check that the friction clips are the same on both clusters (i found my rev2 import had different clips so had to swap them over with the new light clusters). pop the lights into the new clusters holsters and put them on.

its a nice easy job.

there is a wiring mod for the lights to work like the jap imports but as mine is an import it already does it!

try this link

and this one if you want to change the way the lights illuminate (over on www.mr2oc.co.uk)

hope this helps

reverse lights have to be split so that they run off the clusters i.e right reverse to right cluster and left to left otherwise your lights dont work as i found out lol also you need to either cut or put dents in the rear boot panel so that the reverse light casings will fit snugly :thumleft: other than that not much modding needed
