This shot will please the rev 1/2 fans (rob) -they're new light clusters from flashmetal. I don't think Jeff could understand why I was spending that money on rev 1/2 items and not 3+. I bought a new centre panel from Toyota not long after I bought the car as the original one fitted was cracked. I much prefer the look. I've tried USDM red corner triangles but didn't like them. I also have a pair of Wolfie's OEM quality clear rev 1/2 rear indicator lenses but having seen the car again / trial fits -I'll not be fitting them (I would have fitted them if I still had the Bomex bumper and clear clusters). These items will be up for sale soon (both essentially unused).

Last shot with my new Recaro Speeds fitted (finally -think I've had them since October last year! -much thanks to Nightspirit for help with sourcing the proper rails). There's now a knack to getting into the car without planting my ar$e on the bolster, but I've got used to it. They are very comfy and hold much better in corners compared to the leather seats.

...now provisionally booked into Roge 2-6th June for l/w flywheel, uprated clutch and Link ECU to be fitted. I can't see me going itb's this year -we may trial fit them to look at filters and clearances and get a set-up built for a visit in 2009. I lost way too much driving time this year already!
Getting the car back is SUCH a weight off my mind. I had a difficult bodyshop and a bit of hassle getting hold of parts which has all coincided with a very stressful time at work. I have £0.5M of hydraulic plant to comission for our production line -and I essentially designed it with far too many unknowns so I have to get it all to work somehow. It's been very stressful with very difficult suppliers.
I'm so glad I now have something I can jump in at the end of the day and enjoy for the commute home -it always brings a smile to my face when the VVt-i kicks in!!!
Cheers,
Richard
