Reg is B728... Red 85 sunroof model. i replaced both front wings with newer ones, and they were missing the black bumper strips

i was in Coventry when i sold it, buyer was too...

I sold it about 3 years ago when i was leaving the country, and unfortunately still haven't been paid... i've spoken to the buyer quite a few times since, but haven't heard anything in a long while now...

just curious if he's passed it on, or if anyone's seen it around.

just wondering, why do you allow a buyer to leave with your car without paying for it?

Or was it someone you knew?

He was someone i got to know over about 6 months while i was living in coventry. seemed like a nice guy. i know he wasn't planning to screw me over. if he was, it was very elaborate involving 6 months of planning including 2 runs to wales with this club and a couple of meetings at our place.

he was a bit short at the time and i needed to leave the country, so we created a contract that he would pay in a month's time. that passed, and i know things weren't going great for him, so i let it slide for a while... but now it's been far too long, and i can't get hold of him anymore...

it's not a huge amount of money, but it would make the difference for me to buy another mk1 in canada now... and i need a car for work now.

just thought i'd see if anyone's seen it around. i miss my 2.
