Looks like they wimped out a bit, only had it on easy whereas the tribute act had it on medium at least.

I want it, might go get it tomorrow, didnt have time yesterday :thumleft:

Are you owners happy with the way it works with the Guitar Hero Guitar?

I'm not intersted in the instrument package.

Yeah it works fine with mine, I'm still using the GH2 controller, tried out my mates Rock Band guitar and wasn't all that taken with it, much prefer the GH2 and GH3 guitars.

The effects seem like a gimmick rather than bringing anything useful and the solo buttons are pretty tiny, so only for someone with time to dedicate to a lot of practice.

mine i take apart and put behind the sofa they go quite small the biggest bit is the pads but it is well worth it if you have ever wanted drums
i find it bettter than the guitar because evach pad only had one sound so it makes more sense that teh guitar and you have freestyle areas in the song where you can play wha you want
basocally 2 pads are drums 2 are syslibols or how ever you spell it and foor peday for big drumm

i not know any technical names

Can't wait till I can afford this. I've been playing drums for over 8 years now. The absolute first time I played the game I got 92% on Metallica - Enter Sandman. It was just so easy. Everyone who doesn't play drums has stiff arms hitting the pads hard it's soooo funny

Got it today. Been playing away. I'd say on game play it's not as good as Guitar Hero. It's lacking all the stats that makes Guitar Hero interesting. I played for a few hours thinking it's not all that original. (bare in mind i only play with the guitar) But then i went into the music store! Holy cow there's loads of it! I can only assume there will be more too? I downloade Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger and a Blink 182 track. Well happy with that option.

You can buy pads that you put on top of them to stop them clacking so much.

Yeah, especially when you get people who have no clue how to play the drums (me) attempting to play them, I looked more like a marching band drummer and it was making quite a bit of racket.

Damn right!

Just been playing it on drums and guitar with Black Beast Pistol...damn good fun! Drums are excellent! Definately helps if you can already play the drums (10 years for me! ) as then you can get straight into it.

New guitar is pretty damn good too....high fret board buttons are cool. :thumleft:

this game is awesome if you have a few mates to play with. the drums are mint and the new guitar is alot better to play with.

me and a couple of mates have just spent the last 2 nights playing and not had such a laugh in ages.

couple of things i would change, drums are bit loud (looking into some pads for them but all seem to be in america) and the text for the singer is too small.

other than that top game.

Well, my ceiling is currently bouncing as my sons are upstairs playing it

Chris ( 8 ) is on drums and is giving the bass pedal some hammer, as he's used to the one on his proper drum kit

The guitar looks a tad out of place compared to Alex's other ones ( RKS Wave, Gibson SG, etc. ) though
