[Mk2] [NA] Arch rolling - what to look out for and recommendations in Herts

Post by Babboon »

I think I need to get my arches rolled as my tyres are catching on the edge of the arch when the suspension has to work hard like over bumps in the quality roads around here. Its only started happening since I got some new Falken FK-452's on the rear to replace the old Goodyear GSD3's, only other thing thats changed is the addition of spigot rings on the rota D1 rims (8.5j ET35).

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to get it done around the Hemel Hempstead area and anything I might need to know?

Cheers

Try arch enemy.... you'll find them through google. Not used them myself but heard good things.

just having both my rears done as ive got 255 tyres on a 17" rim.

cost me £60 for both @ my local body shop. if the paint got damaged they said they would repair it free of charge.

you need to make sure the in side of the arch is clean before it is "folded up" to prevent corosion, and if the paint is cracked during the rolling process it will need resealing/painting.
