Has anyone removed this? I understand it has two pins that go into the boot lid. Does anyone know where these are located?
Also any tips on removing the badge without damaging the paintwork?
i normally put electrical tape around badge and also on blade of screwdriver to stop damage to paint if you slip, i normally use a hairdryer on the sticky badges with a credit card (old one or one you have run up to the max) to get behind it, dont matter then as card is plastic and wont scratch paint, ive been doing it that way for years oh and a drop of petrol on a cloth for sticky thats left i wont use thinners just in case its been sprayed thinners would take paint off if job was done crap
Hot but not boilking water will soften the glue allowing you to peel it off with your hands. White spirit/meths will remove rest of glue folowed by a T-Cut shoudl remove any traces.
No pegs on the rear badge but locating pegs on front bumper

Ahh.... Yeah mines a uk spec too.
Are they just small holes? I assume they car be filled in easily. It doesn't have to be a great job as i'm planning on putting my web address across the back.
would have thought thay would only be small as thay are only locating pins, so wish these companys just stuck them on would be a lot less hassle for those of us who dont like there badges
