[Mk2] [Turbo] What metal HG?

Hi guys,

going to have a metal HG put on next month, for a stock engine what size do i need?

there is a choice of 3

im guessing its the 1.0mm one, but if im going for a bit more power is it worth going for the 1.4mm to lower compression slightly?

any advice would be great.

I put a metal HG on my 2 last year, i waited until i had the head off the car before buying one and checked the condition of the head first. Mine needed skimmed which meant i needed a thicker gasket i also put a thicker one on than needed as i was going for higher boost,
