speedo

it will mean you have no speed input signal to ecu if your speedo is a cable there is a wire from the back of the speedo head wich runs to the ecu

i have had this problem and the car went into a sort of safe mode.

i removed the dashed to exposed the circuit board with the delimiter chip and kph to mph conversion and discovered a dry joint on the circuit. quick touch up with a slodering iron and hey presto.

Andy did you get this sorted out? Just wondering because I also have this error appearing...

What was the solution and how much did it cost to repair?
