Do any of you nice peeps out there know of anywhere large and flat out there sos I can try and find the limit? Id rather find it sooner than later,if you know wot I mean.By the way Im in Dagenham <shame I know>.Many thanks and kisses. :D :D :D

what kind of limit are you referring to mate, if it's top speed then it will have to be a track or a disused air field...

are you still using the standard box because with that bhp the top speed limit could be very high with the right gear ratio's... :-k

Drive to Germany and find a de-restricted autobahn.

You'll never see top speed on a track, the straight won't be long enough.

You could hire a runway i guess.

What is the need though?

north weald aint to far from us but not that long not for over 500 bhp, you need some serious stretch to do what your thinking of matey, read 2 other guys on here a while wishing to do the same thay had serious horsepower like yours also :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Go on a reputable trackday. That should give you plenty of feedback as to how well the box handles the power.

thay have run what you brung days there lots of funny cars and drag cars, just read your post again and seen you need more of a track for what you want, try a trackday dont know the nearest to us might do it at brands thats our nearest i suppose :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

I don't believe so. Andy Walsh at Car limits will give you a day of tuition exploring grip and limit handling at North Weald.

There have also been activity days organised there for larger groups (have a look in the Events/Motorsport sections)

You need an airfield and minimum of a mile stretch. Keep an eye out as magazines and clubs organise several events within a year...(I did 157.8mph at Elvington for instance over a mile).

Try Trax in september @ Silverstone they have track sessions etc
