Note the shiny slugs in the pic:
These flats basically lock the strut into the topmount and prevent it from turning, without them its near impossible to tighten or loosen the top nut:(
Has anyone else come across this problem? Do I have any options other than to buy a new topmount?
If not, does anyone have good condition one for sale because Toyota are asking for
£75 each!Cheers,
