Weird pic of a mate that came down with me. He drives the red KE70 that was parked at the end of the row. It has a GZE swapped in and is pretty damn quick

Was a great experience to see the SR-71 - me and a friend used to be heavily into planes, especially this one - we had so many models! Had many a military plane book and would spend hours poring over the history, design specs etc of the planes, but this one most of all - felt quite special to be up close to one after all this time...felt 11 years old again!

Only downside was with so much to see, never got a chance to speak to people much, hopefully can rectify that at the next one.

Well high tide is 1145hrs IIRC, so was hoping to get there for approx 10am. **May** be able to get there Thursday night to help set up...depends if i am in the good books at the time.....
