what a bummer didnt know you could just buy the spacer plate nevermind a bit late now, might change my shifter back to the standard one as its angled as opposed to straight like the one you buy from ebay does the job required though

This shifter ive got is weird its short then got an extension on it

trev someone must of had that made mind you i cant see the spacer at the bottom that alters the throw of shifter, praps thay didnt like the short throw of standard shifter and had that made weird, where do you get all these strange bits from

bought the gear cables, and they were still attached to the plate

why has everyone got a stubby nob!

they look way to small to be off any use to anyone.
as long as the throw is shorter, you dont need the knob at the same level as the gear surround, jeeez, how do you lot change gears quickly.

i have a toms quick shift and lowering plate with a TRD knob, perfect in terms of looks and performance imo......and least i can grab my nob with all of my hand this way
the throw is no longer/shorter than what you guys are using.

Jims right, the knob length should stay the same, its the throw of the gear linkage that changes.

It is identical to the standard shifter but the mounting of the gear linkage bracket is repostioned for a shorter throw.

I don't understand why peeps have tiny knobs

back to that old thing again size matters nothing wrong with my short knob does the job nicely and fathered a little girl, and the shortshifter kits quite good aswell
