Red two- Huntingdon.

Seen another MR2 when you were out and about? Find out if it was another IMOCer here.

Red two- Huntingdon.

Post by whitemr2ladyagain »

I was parked in Sainsbury's car park, going back to my car, when a lovely red MK1 pulled in. Couldn't resist going to have a chat, as we were parked about four cars apart!! Nice red F reg MK 1, well looked after and to improve matters, the owner was from the North-East originally!! Howay the lads!!

Spoke to the guy, who was definitely a guy!! Said he was in the RAF at the local base. Also said he'd just seen a blue MR2 at Spittal??

He'd be at Wyton then. Was it the one with the aftermarket wheels? If so, I guess his other half drives it to work as I pass her every morning.

I went to Waitrose at Huntingdon yesterday, didn't see any MR2s though. Maybe I should go to Sainsbury's instead. :)

Nope not me. White is a common colour isn't it!! Apologies to all other members who have white MK1's. 8-[ I dinged my front on the gate post yesterday as someone coming round the corner wouldn't give me enough time to get onto the kerb and onto the parking bay. Grrrrrrr. ](*,)

Hi, that's great to know who the MR2 was then. It was they guy I spoke to in the car park who mentioned you. This chap isn't a member, so he can't post a reply. I told him to sign up. By the way, where is Spittal?? (me being a Geordie lass, I don't know as I've just moved down here)

Well the Spittals Interchange is the big junction on the A14 just outside Huntingdon - that's probably what he meant.

What a laugh! I moved from South Shields down to St Neots last year, you've done the opposite. Bishop Auckland, the land of the Prince Bishops. Get in touch with the MR2 lot up there, they're great, specially Micheal Sheavills, he's a hoot. Got me my car back. cheers Micheal!! :D
