GTA4 - I am moist with excitement!

I also can't wait for this... Thing is i've always played gta on my PC (my pc is a high spec so alot of my games are on there) But i also have a PS3.

I've had a look on play.com and cant even see the release date for the PC :s

If it is coming out on the pc what would you guys do...... PS3 or PC ?

Surely there will be a bigger online audience on the pc?

From what I remember, they always seem to release GTA games on the PC a couple of years after the console versions.

I see what you mean about the larger online audience on PC, but I think times are a changin'! For example, I've got COD4 on the xbox, and I've maybe played it for 20 minutes in offline mode.

It's much easier to snipe on the pc though

For me FPS games belong on pc's along with driving simulators... well anything thats a simulator belongs on a pc.

Dont get me wrong i think the PS3 is great, but so far it's showed me nothing that my pc can't do.

I have to say though, i'm a bit hooked on juiced 2.... unlike gt5 prologue.... What a complete let down. I much prefer gt4 on the ps2.

Online games i think are deff catching up on the consoles but the pc is still where its at.... The 360 is crap because it charges you ontop of your bill for already being online.

Looks like i'll get gta4 on the PS3 then, but game arent taking any more pre-orders

the 360 charges because its a much better service mate. simple as.

I guess we really have to wait until the online PS3 stuff as Home is actually implemented before we can make a valid judgement on that.

But 'Home' is Sony's concept of the 'live' thingy that Bill has isn't it?

So we can only compare like with like when we have like with like to compare to.

It's getting a little sad how every thread descends into whats better, 360, PS3 or PC though.

Games are games, enjoy them on what ever platform your playing them on!

I think that it is pointing out the obvious that sony are going to try and eclipse Bill et al. with their online service, hence my sarcastic post. Just a pity its taking so long.
