Yes mate. The reg gives it away but on the car your giveaways are the three piece rear spoiler and square lights (makes it a rev1 or 2) and the small 2 piece front splitter (theres a join in the middle) which makes it rev1 as they got deeper and are one piece on rev2s.
Hope you enjoy the car mate.

Easiest way to tell a rev 1.....Black head liner :thumleft:

Splitters for the mk2 are uiversal mate......A rev 3 stock splitter will fit the rev 1 no probs and is a popular upgrade, or aftermarket ones fit all revisions of the mk2.

Here's my rev 1 with a rev 3 front lip:

Nice looking car, what date was it made mate as it looks like an oldie (Should be on the seatbelt tabs)?
If it were me I'd space the rears out a bit, get a quickshifter in there and consider changing the steering wheel to something chunky.. made quite a difference specially if you dont have power steering. Looks like it may have been lowered already?
Engine wise as I'm sure you know all you can really do are induction and exhaust (inc. decat).
How you finding it so far?

Its a 1990 i think mate but i will look on the seatbelt tabs to see

i dont think its been lowered its on 18inch wheels, does have power steering need to change the steering wheel as its been quite warn so new one is in order

Welcome to the club :thumleft:

Nice example, cleaned up well! What were you hoping to do with it? Just body mods, and/or handling etc...?

Sounds like a plan, if you do decide you want a turbo model...

well its got a water leak from a pipe that i learn you guys call a pipe from hell and i now understand why this is.. lol

think all i really plan todo is lower the car air filter manifold and exhaust not a loud one just a nice sounding one.

then shop around for a turbo one.. hopefully T-Bar also lol
