Rev-2 modified tubby for sale

Post by Greyshade »

It looks like my pride and joy for almost the last three years is now going to be looking for a new home. Lots of reasons, none of which have anything to do with the car, but they've been getting gradually more and more significant and I just can't ignore them any more. It makes sense to sell up and pass it on to someone who will look after it.

* Just under 90,000 miles.
* Full Veilside Body kit
* One off 'Typhoon Blue' flip-paint
* 17" TSW Pace alloys
* Nardi racing steering wheel
* A-pillar mounted defi-style boost gauge
* Hybrid turbo - machined housing, larger compressor
* HKS Turbo Timer
* HKS SSQV Dump Valve
* MBC (Grainger valve)
* TB Development De-cat pipe
* Blueflame turbo exhaust system
* Tein Super Street suspension
* Front and rear strut braces
* 264bhp (fly) 227bhp(wheels) - Dyno plots included in paperwork.
* Sigma Thatcham Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser fitted
* Headlights have been replaced with Raybrig units and decent bulbs!
* I still have the original floor mats which will also come with the car.

* Note the interior pic is prior to installation of the a-pillar boost gauge.

The car was featured in the very first issue of MR2only and the article can be seen here. It's also in the rolling road day article in the same issue, a copy of which will come with the car, of course ;)

It's been serviced and generally looked after exclusively by Rogue since I bought it (i'm the first UK owner since import). I have every receipt for all the work done on the car since I purchased it (2 1/2+ years ago). In fact I have an overflowing folder full of receipts and other paperwork which will come with the car evidencing thousands that have been spent on mods and maintenance.

Only thing I can say that's "wrong" with the car is the general wear and tear. There are a few paint chips as you'd expect on a car driven daily and some scuffs on the underside of the front bumper (speedbumps + veilside nose-cone = :cry: ).

The only real change i've made to the car recently was to fit an in-dash (3inch) lcd DVD player when the old stereo gave up the ghost.

There are more pictures available on my site here.

I'm looking for £4,000 (but am open to sensible offers).

Few things I neglected to include in my first post.

- Sigma Thatcham Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser fitted
- Headlights have been replaced with Raybrig units and decent bulbs!
- I still have the original floor mats which will also come with the car.

I'm also open to any sensible offer and could possibly be persuaded to p/x something with 4 doors and 5 seats for family transporting :wink:
