What to look out for when buying a head unit off ebay?

Hello there!

Just a quick one! Got a nice alpine HU in my MK2, but my girlfriend is wanting a CD player in her fiesta.
I just had a quick look on ebay and saw loads available for good money, but what should i look out for and be wary of, besides the usual bad feedback etc...!

Read the description carefully, make sure the person has a high amount of positive feedback, try contacting them to make sure they're genuine, ask to see a close-up pic of the headunit, pay by paypal if you can coz it offers you the best cover if something is wrong. That's about it.

I thought that would be the main things.
Its just for her mk3 fiesta and its going to be used with the original speakers, so basically we didnt want to spend too much on it!!

Check where the seller sourced the unit and google the model number - it could have originated from a country with different radio settings to us so you might lose some functionality.

Otherwise usual eBay concerns apply.
