It's a poo state of affairs when a company like sega are releasing games that they know there is an issue with!

While it hasn't even hit Australian stores yet, the internet is already flooded with reports of the Xbox 360 version of Condemned 2: Bloodshot suffering from a case of the disappearing save game files.
It seems that when users go to reload the game after previously saving it, the game will not recognise that you have a saved game file- even though it is visibly present on the 360 hard drive.
Users who have been experiencing the issue have recommended that those in the possession of memory cards should save the Condemned 2 save game to the memory card instead of the hard drive- as this has proven to be a successful remedy for some people.
Others recommend that you quit the game properly instead of just ejecting the disc or hitting the power button. That is to actually go to the pause menu, go to quit, save the game.
Get to the main menu and then take the disc out.
Hopefully a patch will arrive in time for Australia's release of Condemned 2: Bloodshot this Thursday, but gamers are reminded to be mindful of the consequences if a fix doesn't get released in time.
