[Mk2] [Generic] Will these wheels fit?

Post by KoLaBoTTle »

Might be a silly question but I have no idea :D

45 offset all round and 7.5J wide, would they fit properly with coils?

Any advice appreciated :thumleft:

I'd be supprised to be honest mate - i reckon if you have coilovers you want to be looking in the region of +35 offset on the front to clear (i have +32 on my 17x7.5 and there's loads of clearance to the coilover)

Rears should be ok with +45......... i think :-k

Best of luck though

PS: 7mm spacers are still quite reasonable

I would have thought so - i reckon the standard wheels are around a 45 offset.

Good luck btw - you'll have to post up some pics mate!

Sorry chap but that's not correct.

FWIW standard sizes for rev 3+ wheels are 6" front and 7" rear both at 45 offset.

Fronts may require 3mm spacers. I have 8" up front with 35 offset (with coilovers), so 7.5" et 45 with 3mm spacers would give you the same as my setup effectively.

Rears will be absolutely fine but you may want to space them a bit to get the front and rear sitting into the arch by the same amount. Best bet is to try them first and see what spacers you'll need.

HTH.
