Rotorstock invite on the 29th30th May with Toyota attending

Post by Clive@MRC »

Hi Guys,

I have realised that whilst we now have most of the major clubs attending this meeting I have noticed your Club is not one of them, so we would still like to give your Club the opportunity to come to Rotorstock on the 29th/30th May that incorporates not only an all Japanese Show, The Japanese Street Fighter Championships but also The Rotorstock Drift Championships.

You may be asking "why should my Club be interested in a meeting with the name of Rotorstock"

Well l can tell you that the misconception that this is "Just about Mazda's is very wrong" , indeed if this was the case then why would Japanese Manufacturers likeToyota, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Honda be coming with lots of their own cars to put on display in the Show side of the event ?

( Toyota are coming with - New special and limited edition models including something yellow with a large wing on the back that they pre-launched in April. Trying to get hold of one of the F1 (display) cars too.)

The Japanese Performance Magazine sponsored meeting is called Rotorstock purely because a car club just like yours called Mazdarotaryclub has worked hard for months and months planning and organising to bring
ALL Japanese enthusiasts a true Multi Event Japanese only meeting for all to enjoy and remember.

This is the only meeting now on the Japanese car Club calendar that is organised purely on a non profit basis by Enthusiasts for Enthusiasts.

Please mail me on receipt of this mail to book your space and to ensure your Club Members do not miss out on what should be the Best Event your Club will attend all year.

Even if your Club does not attend you are welcome to come as individuals and park in the Japanese only area.

See you there.

Many Thanks for your time.

Let me be the first to say thank you for the invite Clive :D

I have been aiming to have my own car ready for this event over the last month or so but it would seem that it's just not to be  Just to rub it in it's looking like the car will be ready a few days after the event has passed....typical!

I hope you have a great day all the same though buddy and I look forward to hearing about/reading about and no doubt viewing all the fun i've missed via DVD in the future :D

Best

Where is it?

oh wait... Google....

Hmmm Shakesere County Raceway, Warwickshire.

Okay, I'll go... My car's not a perfect IMOC example it needs a little TLC, but if you don't mind I'd help with an IMOC mini-stand. I've got the ICE sorted and so on... With a wax, she does shine :)

I went last year and was IIRC the only MR2 there taking part. It was a very well organisied event and I got bags of runs in. This year should be ven better with the drifting etc. Well worth a visit. Just a shame my wagon wont be running by then.
