Bit OTT for my likings... But then I've got an Exige which looks better from the factory :D

I think I was making a point about keeping quiet, that's my excuse anyway LOL

So in your opinion Michael, should all cars be just left standard, apart from an exhaust, and some wheels maybe? because anymore and your 'chaving your motor'...

Did I say that?

There is a huge gulf between a highly modified car that has been done well and one that hasn't - I'm a huge fan of showcars and modification in general but I'm also able to decide what I do and don't like based on my own tastes.

Personally speaking I prefer kits that compliment the existing styling rather than throwing in an assortment of bizarre lumps and lines that leave the eyes wandering around looking for inner peace but that's just me I guess. Others obviously have a greater appreciation for the brash, overdone modifications which ruin the base car but sadly don't mask it's origins entirely.

I'm also more from the "function over form" school so I guess that doesn't help. Anyway why are my opinions causing people to get so wound up, at the end of the day I'm a nobody with no life.

looks like a lot of work went into creating that factory look.

Well then u can make a list of complaints on any showcar out there...

They all have wings to big and graphics/stickers all over the car...

You'd rather spent a load of money on something that gives u like 3hp more instead of spending it on a something that makes the car look better in a way that u find worth the money....

dont get me wrong, so would i... function over form...

I just dont waste my time telling people their mods suck and they should do other things to their car, cause its just a matter of taste... or lack of it...

Not gonna spend more time arguing in this thread, cause i dont own a mr2 aswell.... :D

Well... Ok then, I'll let you off, normally I'd set my Laywer ex on to ya (who is a pro at "mooting" )

:D
I don't like the whole horror genre, I scare the xxxx out of myself in reality often enough!

i'm not into changing the whole car's look myself, the more subtle touches the better for me, just a little personalising. But people like putting the extra effort into there car to be that little different...

as for getting people wound up, i'm not wound up, it'll take something a little more than someone who has no life (your words) to get to me... :D

but its the way you word your comments that could get to people... as dale explained earlier...

Personalising by copying stiles from Max power and Demon tweaks is hardly personalising, just in the same way that buying and wearing this season's latest fashion from the high street isn't!

It's simply following trends, good, bad, or indifferent

So your saying just because i've got clear indicators, alloys and painted the calipers i'm following styles from Maxpower and Demon Tweeks... :-k

ok then, think that includes near enough every other owner of a MK2 on IMOC...

No, what I'm very clearly saying is that if every other car has it, it's hardly personalised #-o

But thanks for the confirmation =D>

I think you should look more at the total picture of the car and all its mods in stead of just mod by mod...

I dont think you can find a car that is simular to hers, so it would still be quit personalised wont it?
