F.E.A.R. Files - Any One Played It Through?

Finally got this last week. As some of you know the first game was one of my favourites.

I'm only a little way into this one but I'm finding it pretty slow compared to the first one. Perhaps because I'm playing it on a harder level than I played the first?

How does it work as I notice you can chose from 2 different missions, how many stages are on each one and are they linked or totally seperate?

It doesnt seem scary like the first one, well after a little while it doesnt make you jump any way. Perhaps I'm just used to it now?

Yeah I've completed both single player missions and all the instant action maps.

Extraction Point isn't as good (or as scary) as Perseus Mandate.

They both follow directly on from F.E.A.R. Neither as as long as the original game but either were ment to be. They are both just add-ons mate. Perseus Mandate is better, you get some damn cool weapons and loads of new creatures/enemies!

Project Origin is the real F.E.A.R 2! Can't wait fror that one!

The let down with FEAR Files is that the graphics arent any better at all.

That one looks beautiful and plenty of gore and xxxx your pants moments.

Yeah F.E.A.R and F.E.A.R Files were just straight port over's from the PC. Graphics do look VERY dated in some parts, great in others. The A.I and movement is excellent though.

Project Origin is gona be f**king wicked! Proper next-gen F.E.A.R!!

Any news on a release date?

I wonder when my copy of Condemned will arrive. It's still showing as pre-ordered on Play.com

I only ever pre-ordred something once and it arrived a few days before release date.

cant wait for condemened 2. im jus gonna pick it up at morrisons on friday tho.
