Yeah thats cool, as I said before, need to go to Nobles anyway. Just an idea incase all else fails. Never been before so would be intresting to see how close Doncasters and Nobles rollers are. :D

I notice I'm not on the list, although I put a hand up for Thor early on.

Never mind, I'll probably have got rid of the 2 by then anyway.

FWIW I also have a plot from Top Gear - I'm a dyno whore :)

I wasn't all that impressed with them but they were new to the Supra and it was tricky getting the power down, the MR2s at the day were well looked after and lots of time was spent tinkering afterwards, nice blokes, good dyno and free tea and coffee too :)

Nobles for me this time, I have 2 plots from there already so it would be nice to get an updated one.

Geoff - planning on selling up then?

what about Top Gear at Doncaster?

I think one of the factors in people wanting to go back to Nobles is that they have previous dyno plots from there and want a meaningful comparison. Certainly thats my reason and I know thats why Dino and Michael want to go back too. I suspect that Mark Powell also is looking for a comparison angle.

Neil, I've not been to Nobles before, but because I know the type of dyno and the software well, and because you've been both to Nobles and OD back to back (which enables us to compare one dyno to the other), it means that I can draw a meaningful comparison to all of my plots that I've had at OD.

Also, I know how to export the data from each run within their software, so it'll be easy to get the info and put it onto an interactive dyno plot tool (like mine! ;) ).

At some point, I do want to run my car on a Dynapack dyno, but at this stage, I'm more interested in seeing my progress from the last time my car was on a dyno, and there's no way I can do that by going to Thor.

I got a Top Gear dyno as well, and my perfectly healthy rev 3 turbo only 'produced' 173bhp at the wheels. I remember the problems with Michaels Supra, it took ages to sort it, and I don't think by the end of it all he had a proper reading :?
Nice chaps there though

I came out with 419.5bhp (fly) at partial boost - not very accurate but it made me happy :)

I am happy to go to any venue as previously stated. I have had good results at both Thor and Nobles, though very different I was happy with both. I have also been to Top Gear, and their results were less than impressive. I realise that the more impressive the horse power, the more likely an individual will think a particular rolling road has more skill, but that is what it is all about for most of us, (personal preference).

Right, since nobody has changed their mind that leaves us with a democratic choice of Noble Motorsport in Chesterfield.

The date will be Saturday 26th March and each car will cost £38. Paymement is required in advance as I have to pay in full the Saturday before the event (19th) - This means I want payment from everybody by the 12th March to give me a week to fill any spare places.

As the event is full, can anybody who does now not wish to attend remove themselves from the following list. Can everybody else please email directly with their phone numbers so I can compile a decent list of attendee's :)

Nothing too exciting, just getting the SAFC II setup and possibly the RSM and G Sensor taken out at the same time.

Hmm ... wonder if my car might be ready for this dyno day :?:

Ahh .. well, I should have comparative Thor figures to bench mark against Jonno's
Small turbos - they're not big and they're not clever!

Just say NO to small turbos!
