Remind me closer to the time....

I may ask Malcolm about a guildford run at that time.....

If not then we can get a few people together and go for a run/grub anyway... :thumleft:

Well update is as follows.....

CT26 turbo has excessive shaft play and i may have a failing HG but lets hope not!

On the bright side i got my replacement bumper mounted, the splitter is being sprayed satin black tomorrow.

The car is not going to be moving for another 2 weeks so i thought i would do a little ebgine clean up!!

Oh and my bro bought a BGW (big gay wing) for his 200sx but isn't sure he wants it......So we sat it on my boot to see what it would look like lol!!! Its erm......BIG!!! But i really like it!! Would look a bit village without a bodykit to match though so i'm not sure..... :-k

Car finally has a space in my garage that i can work on her in the dry!!

not sure mate thats what i was trying to call you about!
i suppose the spoiler thing could look quite cool with a big ar$e body kit aswell but would it then not add alot of weight? :-k

Bodykit would add weight yes! :(

Although i'm not sure how much.....Greddy splitter can't weigh that much more than the rev 3 one and the greddy sideskirts can't weigh a lot more than the standard side pods.......

But it defeats the goal of the car plus if i go for a set of skirts and a front lip i will have to get a wing, headlight cover and the front bumper all resprayed!!!! Expensive and i'm adding weight!! So not worth it IMO...

Hehehe, it's not often something makes me snort with laughter whilst reading a forum, but those wing pictures did just that, for the love of...well, anything, don't put that wing on!

PMSL i just got curious!!

May have to look into another bloody exhaust as mine will not meet track regulations for most places  I did think about sticking to the ring and other circuits with less strict noise limits but i am gonna be doing a fair few days so might as well pop a quieter system on there!

Front rev 3 splitter now satin black :thumleft:

spoiler == lolz. You *can't* put that on!! I'm sure one of my mates used to have a spoiler a similar size on an rx7, and after defending himself against the barage of pisstaking for weeks and weeks it snapped at 140mph ;)

Alex,

Just whack a silencing bung in there seen ti done on alot of cars mainly the TVR's.

If you struggle at UK circuits then Nurburgring would be just as bad.

Silencer still wouldn't bring it anywhere near i'm afraid........

Plus it saps performance a little bit..... :-P

Dep 2 pro - great flow but borderline too loud for trackdays with a SS decat.....

Berk - looks pants IMO and sounds naff........

HKS - Looks awesome, sounds great but its much smaller pipework than the others..... Think its 2.75" all the way through. If i am only aiming for 280-300bhp then it should be more than suffiecient i would think.

Nurburgring is a public toll road so i'm sure there are no noise limits.

Nurburgring is a public toll road but the marshalls at the start gate won't let you out with an overly noisey car (unless it's german ;)).

I believe there is a noise limit that is up to marshall discretion.
