What a shame... :(

That's probably why I saw a Fujitsubo manifold being sold here... :-k

Anyway, sorry to hear that... Hope that nobody got hurt.

Thanks anyway.

Best regards,
Vítor

came across this post when i was looking for information from one of my old posts! - lol! - not bad - only a year or so late! lol!

long story short - driving home minding my own business when an Audi A8 decided to pull out from a side road into the fast lane of a dual carriageway without looking/indicating etc - results was front end damage to my car which resulted in a write off - hence all the goodies that the salvage company stuck on ebay - i had thought i posted a 'heads up' thread here around the time - but it was all a bit manic at that time as i'm sure you can appreciate..

i was lucky i had 2 witnesses and also fully comp - so i got my money back as well as my excess and no claims were unaffected etc - i also had some cash set aside for the MR2's next level of mods (cams and mapping) so put this together to get my new car..

I ended up getting a Volvo C70 T5 GT (some pics of the original Autotrader advert):

Not everyone's cup of tea and probably weighs the same as 2 MR2's - but on the plus side it's fully loaded and one of - if not the comfiest cars i've driven/owned - plus it has almost every toy under the sun and with 240 bhp it's not slow (in a straight line anyway! lol!).. although i do miss the B road thrashing fun i used to get from the MR2..

EDIT: forgot to say - no one got hurt! lol!.. in truth i was amazed how well the MR2 stood up to the front end impact!!
