goodluck with the sale mate..I think you'll probably able to sell it for 5K being realistic unless there is someone really looking for a beams...age of a car always brings the price down unless its a classic!

Thanks for the comments.

£5k??? No chance. I paid over £6k for it, plus the travelling costs from Portsmouth to Edinburgh, then the money i've spent on it (over £1k), No chance am i selling it for £5k :!:

Can't really expect someone else to pay your travelling costs etc though, it's a flippin NICE car but it's a niche thing isn't it, especially with the age. I agree with the £5k mark!

Stick to your price mate, if the car is worth it (i.e. minty like) and you are not in a rush, eventually you will get it. If you want a quick sale though then you are probably going to struggle unless you do drop it. :(

The car is definitely worth it, will just hold out for the cash.

I know when people sale there cars including me, you always want way to much as it means to much to you or to recoup everything you have done to it etc.
your car is very very nice also a mint example but like the other guys said the going rate is the rate you should try and stick to unless you have someone that is after your exact car then wallah,
ive seen some god awful cars for sale with SUCH high prices then end up for going for nothing or just dont sale then also flip side ive seen some unreal mints for next to nothing and when they have gone they get bombed with pm's with higher prices, I just sold my Rev 2 GTS Turbo cost me 2.2k to buy from worcester (im in Scotland) also over grand in reciepts for replacment parts and extras ive had done turned it into a real head turner and great example 60k on the clock and no rust etc she was a nice one I had her up for 3.5 what she owed me roughly but in then end I could only sale it for the rough going rate 2.5 :( most of it is due to the age etc also the fact Rev 5 are now allowed in the UK that rev 3 are getting cheaper now and people would rather then for the added extras.

I know if you hold out your get what you want you could hit pot luck good look with the sale also now you have your house ask your mum n that if you can hold out for summer thats when people start buying again you could sale then?? free bump anyway

Don't take this the wrong way but you can pick up a good Rev 4 Turbo for the money you're asking and for not much more you can get a Rev 5 Turbo.

As mentioned, unless someone is specifically looking for a Beams over a turbo (god only knows why), you'll struggle to get the price you want. The market for the 2 as a whole is terrible for the seller at the moment. You can either hold out, drop the price by quite a chunk or progressively lower it every 3-4 weeks. You can't do much more than that.

It's not an attack at your car or your price as obviously thats up to you, just more of an observation.

Good luck.
