I would say with a SS downpipe the berk would still be too loud....

Blueflame would do nicely. Sound AMAZING on full chat but not really noticable at all on pottering.

I have just taken delivery of a berk and am yet to fit. Looks to be a VERY well made exhaust.
How loud are they? Is there much difference without a cat compared to running with one?

Regarding the original post.
Fujitsubo are regarded as the quietest you can get. Do sound nice when on full chat.

I had a powerflow custom on mine. Nice and quiet even on full boost. But big 4 inch rear cans too!!

hhmm which Blueflame are you talking about?? I have decat + Blueflame exhaust and its loud as fook at all speeds, Sets car alarms off when I go past them (drove into work at 10 - 20mph and set 5 of them off!!), wobbles the windows on my house when ticking over and scares old people

anyway, what you want is the Blitz Nur Spec. (Just joking :thumleft: ) If you goto someone who make custom exhausts eg powerflow you can tell them what you want it to be like.

Sorry have to agree. The Blue Flame twin exit is a horrible exhaust. You will have a headache for sure just by cruising at 70mph. It's fairly quiet at idle, though.

Fozzy Rev3 (who I work with) has a Berk and decat. It fairly loud (but sounds awesome) if you give it beans, but not at all annoying in-cabin. The build quality is great too.

You could get someone like Hayward and Scott to build you a custom exhaust (probably cost about £500 - 600). This way you could have exactly the looks and sound that you want. Their work is highly regarded.

I've got a Berk and stainless downpipe on mine and it's not loud at all at low revs - having the decat didn't make too much difference either. Sounds great on full chat, though It doesn't have a resonant peak like my old Dep II did (droned at 70mph) and the noise is much more linear with speed. :thumleft:

Dual exit exhausts have the capability to be quite quiet as the dual exits mean twice as much silencing can take place without a significant effect on gas flow.

If you can find one, grab it. It's the best made exhaust I've owned. It's heavy, but I reckon it'll outlast most as it's fully stainless and really well-built. Does the job very well and looks the part too. You'll find it's easy to fit too as it's exactly the right shape so won't stress the downpipe.

It all depends on your own version of LOUD......To me loud is not just setting car alarms off or shaking the windows, but something that vibrates the ground around the car and makes grannies pee themselves from 2 miles away

Motoria is a sweet sounding exhaust but bl00dy loud too....Just cos you live in a quiet village/road, it should not sway your exhaust choice. There is a way round making noise.....Cruising at nice low revs or better still, when i pull into my road i put it in neutral and coast the last part into my drive aand make hardly any noise at all.

5zigen or maybe an Apexi GT spec are both quiet

Only kidding the nicest jasma approved exhaust is the PP Departure 2 IMO, Not very loudl on idle or low revs, But sounds really nice when on full chat. Plus it looks the nuts

I think the HKS Silent Hi-Power is one of the best "looks-wise"
Very quiet exhaust though.
