i'd get a set of tein superstreets, obviously a lot more, but well worth the money. i almost went for the d2 ones on ebay, until i did a lot of reading up and decided to fork out the extra, the d2's are apparently supposed to be quite harsh, but this is not from my own experience mind

If you're on about the D2's from New Zealand on ebay for £425 + £60 p+p

Don't forget you'll have import tax on top of that ..!!!

Hi Phil,

D2 are a nice unit and are super efficient at getting the shocks to you BUT a celica GT4 customer of mine brought some and the fronts didnt fit - coming from NZ it has been hard to find a solution, eventually we had to modify the front struts to house the shocks only to find the front spring rates were far to soft, another balls up.

Im not saying this will be the case if you order it but just bare it in mind. They are of fantastic quality and are well worth the money - providing they fit!

If i can help out at all please get it touch.

Regards,

Nathan

new top mounts arnt essential as u can use ur origanl ones as lng as there in good nick but u can replace with pillowball at a later date if u fancy it like im goin 2 i jus didnt hav the extra £220 at the time. or u can get trd ones witch are good but not alot cheaper. up 2 u but if uve got the extra muni to get the top mounts get them if not dnt simple as

cheers

Either tein or D2 will be great.

NB - D2 come with pillow ball top mounts. If it were me, i'd go D2.

As has been said above, Tein Superstreets all the way.
Ive been running on a set now for about 9 months (had new pillowball uppers with mine too). Hands down one of the best modifications Ive had done.
Massive handling improvement.
