I did own a 360 once but i sold it after a month.

Amen to that.

PS3 is the next step...Tekken 6, Final Fantasy, GT5....Xbox needs catching up or a milestone...I dont even like Halo that much.

lol are you kidding. were trying to be a bit serious about this but if you wanted to play those old cards then be my guest.

notice how most of them are about 5 title past a sequel.

the 360 has mass effect, bio shock, gears of war, crackdown that are all multi million selling titles that are A) out to buy now and b) less than 2 years old.

Most of the good games on the 360 are on the PC so in my case the PS3 was the only choice. Plus the fact it does blu-ray. At the time i didnt play enough games to justify buying a 360 when i can get all the games i liked the look of for my computer.

Ive got a HD player and Transformers/Troy/300 look awesome in full HD on my 50" screen

Not actually brought a blu-ray dvd yet.

DEMO!!!! Its not a full game for a start. Plus try playing against someone who knows how to play it and trust me they will beat you every time.

PS3 all the way. I know 360's breakdown quite a lot...something about the ring of death people say.

Had mine 2 years and no ring of death. My first machine freezed a few times and I excercised my consumer rights and got a new unit. But then my PS2 froze alot and by all accounts the PS3 does as well, including my PC and my lap top ... xxxx happens they must all be xxxx?

No subscription fee for online pay.

But how many games can you play online? Warhawk?

the only way you can compare graphics is to have two identical tvs next to each other not looking on gametrailers

Very sad people have done this and have confirmed as much, feck game trailers, game reviewers say the same and I am not even into the whole game scene and even I know as a lay man that this is the case.

i agree the xbox has got more games at the mo but it was released a year before so it will have but the theres going to be loads of more exclusives for the ps3 coming out HOME,ferrari challenge, haze, wipeout HD, gt5, metal gear solid, rfom2

For every one you can list there is another equally good 360 only title.

I only own 1 game that is not playable online and that is Drakes fortune.

I had a look through the oldy games to download lol.
I guess Mortal Kombat 2 would be a laugh for 15 or 20 minutes as the MK series was one of my faves as a kid.

well i did it.

took me about an hour to do it but i bought a PS3.

£335 for 2 controllers a game (unreal tournament i chose) and spiderman 3.


seems ok so far and i got planet earth too which looks stunning but i do have a couple of gripes.

first of all that keyboard you use to input a username is horrible!! why do all the crap like a phone when its on screen?

and whats with not getting a cable to charge up pads with? i kno you get a cable with the console but now i cant charge my second pad till after the first ones done??

the batteries last ages in the pads anyway so dont worry about the charging. personally i didnt like unreal tournement but each to thier own, war hawk is awsome online i no every1 keeps saying that but it really is.

i dont think it does frmo what i remember, but i just charge one while im playin with the other, they will charge off anythin that has usb, so ur sky box, laptop, pc so if ur ps3 is off jsut plug it into ur sky box and ur sorted lol

jus trying to sign up to the PSN. using a wirless connection but ive only got 30% signal strength so i think ill switch it to wired.


anything i should be downloading/watching?

can i do it online or do i have to use my ps3? it browses the internet fine so im not sure what the problem is/was.

I used to get loads of these network connection errors but it was all down to my crappy broadband provider (virgin, bt line) now with sky, (bt line) and NEVER had a problem although when I was with virgin they were like its every body else thats got a fault not us ,To@@ers

i take it that was before they took over the cable network?

it worked fine the second time and demos are downloading pretty fast which was good cos i had read from you guys that it can be a tad slow.
